Sutton Grammar Schools (SET)
One SET registration covers the participating grammar schools and Greenshaw High School. Academic Stage 2 tests are English and Maths; Wilson’s optional aptitude assessments are separate.

One registration covers these five consortium schools. GL applies to 2027 entry. FSCE begins with 2028 entry (test in September 2027); from 2029 entry the test moves to the latter part of the summer term of Year 5. Loreto has a separate admissions process.

These grammar schools use the shared West Midlands test. KEHS is an independent school with a separate English and Mathematics entrance exam; it is not part of this test group.

Two papers of approximately one hour; no creative-writing component. Outside-designated-area candidates have a later test date communicated by the school. This is not the Reading School or Slough test.

Each school has its own registration timeline. Some use ISEB Pre-Test; others set their own papers. Always check the individual school's admissions page. Popular schools fill quickly — register early.

Most leading boarding schools admit at 13+ (Year 9) via Common Entrance, with registration 2 years in advance. Eton and Harrow are highly oversubscribed — register by age 10. Brighton College and Sevenoaks also offer 11+ entry.
